Statistical Testing in Crosstabs
To view the Crosstabs report, click Menu,
and under Trend It, click Crosstabs.
In Crosstabs, you can apply a Columns Proportions test and a Chi Square
statistical test to report data.
To
apply the statistical tests to report data, you must use Measures that
are Counts, such as Alert Counts or Survey Counts.

To apply a Column Proportions or Chi Square test to report data, review
the following report example:
- From Hidden Fields, click
the plus sign next to Measures,
click the plus sign next to Survey,
then drag Survey count into
Data Area.
- From Hidden Fields, click
the plus sign next to Organization,
then drag Organization into
Row Area.
Organization can only be dragged
onto Row Area. It includes
too much data to be shown as columns.
Levels 2-9 Are shown
- At Level 02, click the
blue funnel icon, and then select TME.
- Click the at TME.
The Survey data is shown.
- From Hidden Fields, click
the plus sign at Model, then
drag Model Type-Model
into Column Area.
Model Type and Model
columns are now shown at Drop Columns
Here. The report looks like this partial graphic.
- To apply a Column Proportions test, click the
button.
A selection window opens.
- Select
an alpha value. For example, for a confidence level of .95, select
0.05.
Results
will be based on two-sided tests with significance level of 0.05.

partial graphic.

To close the window, click anywhere outside the window.
- To apply a Chi Square test, click the button.
A selection window opens:
- Select an alpha value. For example, for a confidence level of .95,
select 0.05.
The
Chi Square Testing Results window opens.

To close the window, click anywhere outside of the window.
