Working with Filters in Crosstabs

To view the Crosstabs report, click Menu, and under Trend It, click Crosstabs.

To filter information, you select a dimension that's already in a Row or Column. Then select options from a dropdown list  For example, select specific months.

You can also apply a filter by using the Filter Area, shown as item (6) in Crosstabs Overview

To create a report using the Filter Area, review the following report example.

  1. From Hidden Fields, click the plus sign next to Measures, click the plus sign next to Survey, then drag Survey count into Data Area.

  2. From Hidden Fields, click the plus sign next to Organization, then drag Organization into Row Area.
    Organization can only be dragged onto Row Area. It includes too much data to be shown as columns.

  3. At Level 02, click the blue funnel icon, and then select TME.
  4. Click the at TME.
    The Survey data is shown.

  5. From Hidden Fields, click the plus sign next to Program, then drag Program to Filter Area.
  6. From Filter Area, click the blue funnel icon at Program.
    A dropdown list opens.

  7. Select the program data that you want to view. For example, select Purchase.
    Purchase is now shown n the report as a row or column, but the data changed from the data shown in the Step 4 graphic to show only surveys from the Purchase program.

  8. To save the report, enter a report name and click the Save icon.
